THIS PROJECT HAS BEEN ABANDONED

Unfortunately for you, I realized that I would rather just make games rather than endlessly trying to make 5e a game that it's not. Consider this abandonware, and feel free to steal any and all ideas.

If you're still interested...

NEW GAME PLUS

DNDNG+ is a collection of homebrew rules hack that transform D&D 5e, bringing in inspiration from Blades in the Dark, FATE, PbtA, Dread, and more without breaking 5e compatibility. Players are empowered to be co-authors of the fictions, and are encouraged to be active participants in the shaping of the game.

THE GAME IS A CONVERSATION

This compendium challenges many of the fundamental assumptions of 5e, and alters the power dynamic between DM and players, the rhythms of combat, the structure of the game, how players develop and grow their characters, and more. These changes are made with the goal of making the game more dynamic, player driven, expressive, emergent, and structured.

* These rules assume players are sharing a table in physical space, and has an emphasis on physical props and feelies. Some consideration may be required to use these rules to play online.

** The Physical Inventory board listed here are different from the page that presents them as a stand-alone product. These ones have Coin instead of currency, and are therefore better.
