v 0.11
HARROWING » Devlog
This is it. The last pieces of the puzzle fell into place.
- Tracks are replaced with clocks
- Previous versions, the math favored odd numbers, and tracks worked better for those
- Now it favors even numbers again, so clocks are a lateral move with one major benefit - people are more familiar with clocks
- Afflicted now presents players with a choice - bold actions cost 2 will OR invoke your affliction and take 1 stress
- I finally figured out what players could invoke their affliction for!
- Also, creates an even more interesting risk/reward structure. Being afflicted now makes the character more interesting on several levels.
- Hopefully this makes it feel interesting and dangerous, and not insurmountable.
- Is this forged in the dark now? It's definitely taking some inspiration from Blades in the Dark, but I'm not sure. Maybe!
With these last changes, the game feels complete. Final play testing will determine that, but I think this is a stealth v1.0.0
